This is one of my favorite 'Trick Treats' not just for the kids but for me and my hubby too! When you have a dessert craving, this is a very satisfying treat which is actually good for you, especially if you use raw cacao nibs instead of chocolate chips.
One serving contains 4g Protein and 3g fiber as well as a decent amount of Iron and calcium.
1 can chickpeas
2 tsp Vanilla
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup almond butter
1/8-1/4 cup of milk of choice
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 Tbls oats
1/2 cup raw cacao nibs or chocolate chips(or 1/2 n 1/2)
Simply blend all the ingredients except for the cacao nibs(chocolate chips) in a blender until smooth. Combine the chocolate and then either roll in to balls or serve with a spoon.
Chill the mixture in the fridge for an hour before serving if you prefer to eat the dough chilled as I do.
