 WHAT IS                        ?    

Island Fit is a hardcore work out, dressed up as a Caribbean dance party! It’s P90 X meets Zumba, the Caribbean way! Caribbean dances, Caribbean music, but an athlete's work out. This dance DVD gets you working harder than you probably ever have at the gym, except you don’t realize it because you’re having too much fun dancing and getting lost in the infectious music!





1. The Dance:


Winding the Hips is the foundation of Caribbean Dance. Winding

engages the Abs, Obliques, Buttocks & thighs which are the

problem areas for most people. By assuming a ‘plie’ postion

(Knees bent), and engaging your abs as you rotate your hips, you’ll

target and tone these muscle groups.  Once you have this building

block, you’ll experience the rest of Caribbean Dance, which

encompasses fat burning, Power & Plyometric Movements. All

the energy systems and muscle groups covered to get you

looking ripped. 


2. The Science:


IslandFit is based on Science. The Dances and movements are carefully structured in a way that you will work out EVERY muscle group in the right way, for the right amount of time, with the right amount of rest for optimal RESULTS. Unlike most Dance DVDs, IslandFit is not just a bunch of fun moves thrown together to burn calories. IslandFit takes you through each energy system and resistance training system, works every muscle in your body, emphasizes the right warm ups, stretches, exercises and cool downs. (See Science page for details). 

In Each DVD, you’ll work out Chest, Back, Shoulders, Triceps, Biceps, Quads, Hams, Gluts, Adductor(inner thighs), Abductors(Outer thighs), Calves, Abs, Obliques.



3. The Music :


The IslandFit SOUNDTRACK is OUTSTANDING! Real Chart Topping Caribbean Music taking your mind away to the Islands. You’ll be having so much fun, you won’t even realize you’re working out! 


4. The Intensity:


IslandFit is the REAL DEAL. It’s hardcore, but it’s designed for ALL LEVELS so you can go at your own pace. Dancers are dressed in Green, Yellow and Red to match the intensity level you’re ready for. BEWARE: RED will KICK YOU’RE A$$!! 


5. The Interaction:

6. The Muscle Man:

The Rotating Muscle Man shows you exactly which muscle groups you are working for each exercise and the Heart Rate Zone you should be in. This way you’ll start to understand what you’re doing and how to maximize your focus and hence, your RESULTS for LIFE.


7. 2 Versions:


All work outs come in 2 versions. 1) Instructional: for when you are just starting out and need more guidance. 2) Voiceover: for when you have it down and don’t need the extra commentary anymore. Here you can just Dance, get lost in the infectious Music and get ripped in less time!
